The Toyota Tacoma has always been known for its unmatched durability and off-road capability, and Toyota trucks have built a legendary status in the Baja 1000 with icons like Ivan “Ironman” Stewart. So to commemorate Toyota’s long history in off-road racing, the 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD T|X and T|X Pro Baja Series pickup will be equipped from the factory with all the accessories one needs when the asphalt ends and the dirt begins.
Available in either Access or Double Cab short bed models, the T|X and T|X Pro packages feature 2 extra inches of ride height and T|X models includes the TRD Off-Road Package, which not only includes off-road tuned suspension with Bilstein shocks, an electronic locking rear differential and extra skid plates, but the T|X also comes with unique 16-inch TRD beadlock wheels, larger BFGoodrich Rugged Trail tires, black tube steps and a stainless steel exhaust tip.
Opt for the T|X Pro and you’ll add some extra growl and gusto with the TRD performance exhaust system and unique T|X Pro side body graphics that tell everyone this isn’t your ordinary Toyota Tacoma.
